VPD BOARD LIAISON

Keith has 60+ years of experience serving on 24 nonprofit boards whose missions include addressing affordable housing, emergency housing/shelter, health care, early childhood development, legal services, and community development. He has worked directly with state and local governments, foundations, and corporations, and served on federal advisory groups that include HUD, IRS, EPA, and Indigenous groups in California and Nevada to secure legal rights. He is motivated by concerns over the social and economic health of communities and the environment.  He summered on Vashon starting in 1947 and became a permanent resident in 2017. He has volunteered for the Vashon-Maury Island Heritage Association, the Vashon Senior Center, and currently serves as a Commissioner with the Vashon Park District (position 4).
